The West Room of the Rathskeller and Bar Area

Our Rathskeller greets visitor entering through our South High Street Front Door. This room features a Wonderful Old Syle Bar, with many pictures and treasures passed down to us through our 160 year singing history here in Columbus. The front of the Rathskeller has comfortable seating for about 75 people. Basic Rental for the West end of the Rathskeller is $100 when no meals are served. There is also a smaller room, just to the left, as you come down into the Rathskeller. Known as the "Card Room", this room is often used for meetings of 50 people or less. Our kitchen will be happy to serve folks in both of these areas. Basic rental for the Card Room is $125 when no meals are served.

The East Room of the Rathskeller and Dining Area

The West Room of the Rathskeller features even more artwork and treasures from our past. It is a more intimate area for enjoying the wonderful German food prepared in our kithchen. There is a small stage area that provides a place for musicians who often play to add to our Old World atmosphere. With seating for 75 guests, the basic rental fee for this area is $200 if no meals are served. Member discounts apply for non-commercial activities. The view you see here could well be from our Trophy Room.


The Trophy Room, located next to the Rathskeller

The Trophy Room is located just to the side of the rear Rathskeller area. The Trophy Room contains Pictures and Awards given to our Singers, from Sängerfests both here and in Germany. This room will seat 36 people for dinner and makes an ideal meeting or celebration room for smaller groups. The basic rental for this room is $100 if no meals are served. Member discounts apply for non-commercial activities.


The Bier Stube, Located Upstairs, next to the Konzert Halle

This is the "Bier Stube" and it is located upstaris, adjacent to our Konzert Halle. On Rehearsal evenings, this room fills up after the work is done. Someone, Usually our birthday boy (or girl) buys a round of draft beer and the singers relax by (well you've guessed it) singing of course. During rehearsals our wives, husbands and guiests can enjoy a fine German Beer or Wine as we strive to preserve our wonderful musical heritage. This room holds 64 people and is frequently used during the day for luncheon meetings.The basic rental for this room is $100 when no meals are served. Member discounts apply for non-commercial activities.

The main Knoxert Halle offers seating for 250+ guests for dinner and 350 or more for concert or seminal seating seating. The basic rental fee for the Konzert Halle is $750. Pictures will be posted onm this web site as soon as they become available.

All of these areas in our Männerchor are availble for meetings, parties, receptions, seminars and so forth. The cost of food ordered for your event will partially offset the cost for use of the room. The Konzert Halle (pictures available soon) will easily seat 250 people for a sit-down dinner. Members receive a significant discount on room rentals so you might want to consider becomming a member of the Männerchor if you plan to use our facilities. Your membership and continued support will help us to preserve the Music and Cultural Traditions of Germany here in Columbus.
